Architectural Designer, AI and Craft.
Hi, I’m Pınar. *
I graduated with a degree in Architecture in 2011. After that, I spent four years working with timber construction, focusing on materiality and structural techniques. In 2015, I completed a Master's in Architectural Design at Bilgi University. During this period, I received three awards in national architectural competitions. From 2016 to 2020, I taught architectural design studio courses at various universities.
My work explores ways of seeing in AI-aided architecture, researching the relationship between what artificial intelligence perceives and what lies beyond. I also generate data on vernacular architecture and AI-driven design outputs, examining their intersections and potential synergies. As the co-founder of Synthetic Architecture*, I seek to bridge design, technology, and craftsmanship.
